Through the Tunnel
The first tunnel you encounter while traveling west to east along Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park. This time the tunnel is framed by vibrant fall colors. Construction on the tunnel began on October 18, 1926, and was completed in 1927 through a combination of dynamite and drilling.
A limited print series captures the fleeting weeks when Glacier’s iconic scenic road only belongs to hikers and bikers. Snow dusts the summits, plows clear the path, and silence fills the air on a Tuesday evening after work.
Available through December 31, 2025.
